Earliest musical memory:
Going to Central High School the summer after 3rd grade to participate in a string program taught by Curt Engwicht, a long time player in the Symphony. That was the first time I had ever seen a violin. It sounds strange, but it seems like the instrument just landed in my hands…..
Best part of being a Salina Symphony musician:
Performing great music with fantastically talented people.
Most memorable performance with the Salina Symphony:
The performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony was a very inspiring concert for me. The music was very up lifting and a great blessing to play.

What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
Everything except rap and hip hop.
What song best describes you in the morning?
Reveille – because I am usually late and out of milk!
How do you spend your free time?
Recently I having been volunteering for the Humane Society, doing a workout program called P90X (which will probably kill me) and learning to play the cello.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Playing the music as fast as Ken wants to go – which I have not achieved yet!!!
