Earliest musical memory:
When I first started to play violin, my parents bought me a full-size violin from a pawn store and didn’t know how to tune it. I remember the look on their faces when they handed my five-year-old self the violin and and soon realized what they were in for in the years to come.

Best part of being a Salina Symphony musician:
I love the community. After studying all day, it is great to be part of a group of people that love to make music and share it with others.

Most memorable performance with the Salina Symphony:
Cirque Goes to the Movies from last season. We got to play unabridged John Williams, and I loved it.

Favorite composer:
John Williams or Tchaikovsky
