Endowed Chairs provide the foundation necessary for the Symphony to continue to grow in musical competence and stature while at the same time serving to guarantee the long-term financial success of the organization.

The Symphony’s Endowed Chair Program offers the contributor, whether individual or family, the opportunity to endow a named Chair that reflects their particular interest.

An Endowed Chair is established with a gift that is invested in an interest-bearing fund in which the principal remains intact while the interest provides a permanent source of annual income. Named endowment funds are available for gifts ranging from $20,000 to $200,000.
